For auld lang sine, my friends.

Didn't get to the cocktail party or the pub last night. Needed to rest.

Also, no tuxedo or champagne tonight. I'm going to bed as soon as I post this.

Here are my resolutions:

  1. Beat cancer.
  2. Celebrate victory over cancer. I'm thinking huge party with bands, tent, food, etc., for all the people who've been so great to us and are helping us on the road to victory.
  3. Remember all the lessons I'm learning. Share them with others so they don't have to learn them first-hand. Incorporate them into my life.
  4. Make a mighty fresh start when I'm done. Take back the best parts of my pre-cancer life with a strategic plan, a quick start and a dynamic edge.
  5. Cherish the amazing people in my world. Repay my debt to them by using my gifts to help others wherever and whenever I can.

Happy New Year!

Jim,

As far as your resolution #5: "Repay my debt to them by using my gifts to help others wherever and whenever I can" - you could truthfully say instead "by _continuing_ to use my gifts to help others wherever and whenever I can". Think about how you've used your talents (along with the rest of UB) to raise money for Freedom House over the past several years ($1500 this year!); also about how you've yearly raised money for Cystic Fibrosis. I'm sure there's a lot more you do to help others without even thinking about it - but you don't talk about it; you just do it.

Happy New Year to you and yours,

Pamela

Hi Jimmy, Happy New year! Seems to me you dont have a debt to repay but rather a gift to pass along to everyone you can. Keep fighting the good fight

Jim,

Took me a while to make it to the blog, but after getting updated with the most recent entries I really wanted to share a comment... and how fitting for it to follow your "New Year" resolutions:
Regarding "No Whining"... I would like to suggest that you reconsider... I think that we all need to do a little "whining" from time to time. So if I may suggest an additional resolution for 2005... To do some heart felt whining in the way that will be most meaningful to you! Whining comes in many shapes and sizes... and I believe ALL are useful at one point or another. I love you! Please know that you and Judy and the kids are consistently in our thoughts and prayers.

Find out how your company rates by using a little known rating system!

Is your company a Scam, Dud, Scheme, Fraud Or Good Opportunity?.

95% of the money-making opportunities on the internet have been worked to death or are not suitable to be marketed through the internet. How does your company and/or opportunity rate… I’ll leave it to you to decide if your service, product and/or money making opportunity falls in this category.

Hurry you may NOT be happy with what you will find!
